Before this, I was working as a petroleum systems service technician. And I kept running into the same frustration — over and over again.
The company I worked for had a website that didn't reflect the quality of the work we actually did. It was basic. Directionless. Built on a platform that didn't fit the business.
I tried to point it out. Tried to explain why it mattered.
But nothing changed.
And then I started noticing something bigger.
It wasn't just that company. It was almost every business I came across.

Everywhere I looked, I saw the same thing:

I Tried Their Way
So I did what most people do — I tried to learn those platforms myself. I thought maybe I was missing something.
But the more I used them, the clearer it became:

At 35, trying to compete purely on traditional coding paths would take years. And the landscape was already shifting.

So instead of fighting that shift — I leaned into it.
